Spoils of delicious food, wine, music and of course, love 

They say home is where the heart is. So choosing the Black Oystercatcher venue for their wedding was the perfect option for Abigial and Tyren – who both come from the nearby town of Elim. According to Abigail, this is quite simply “the most beautiful venue for any occasion”.

The wonderful Engel couple brought their own fantastic flair to the reception. They said ‘I do’ in February of 2022, during a stunning summer’s day in the Overberg countryside. And they ensured that their guests were spoiled with delicious food and wine, brilliant music and an amazing atmosphere.

Abigail also worked closely with the Black Oystercatcher team throughout the planning process. In her own words: Jeanette and Sandra “were always just a phone call or message away and had the best ideas when we “didn’t know” what we wanted.”
