Create your own country lunch with fresh snacks from our deli. Choose from our selection of farm-fresh bread, cured meats, delicious cheese, and much more. And enjoy your choice on our veranda (or in our venue). (Deli options are subject to availability). We're also serving wood-fired pizza, with a selection of toppings on our tasty farm-style crispy base. Order your pizza from the bar counter, and enjoy it while overlooking the infinity pool and Agulhas countryside. Tuesday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00. Pizza 11:00 - 15:00. Saturday 10:00 to 15:00. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
Experience the cool-climate Black Oystercatcher wines with our knowledgeable tasting team - from vertical tastings, to reserve tastings.

No need to rush off at the end of your party: we offer four self-catering cottages for guests to stay over.
And then, as we work with wonderful partners, our team can suggest service providers that we enjoy working with – like photographers, entertainment, florists and more.
Intimate party or a large group? We’re adaptable.
If you’re organising an intimate party, our venue is adapted accordingly (we can also organise a dance floor, should you need one). And if you’re wanting to celebrate with a large group, we set up our beige Bedouin Tent across the lawn in front of the venue.

A botanically inspired birthday
The décor, arranged by Lucia Streicher from The Ivy League, was botanically inspired with vintage undertones, and showcased Zabeth’s love for flowers and gardening.
The Black Oystercatcher Kitchen cooked up a 4 course food tasting inspired menu, starting with a local Nieuwedam Smoked Trout Salad with fresh melon and a basil pesto crème fraiche, followed by a mini ‘roosterkoek’ duo with farm butter, biltong shavings and preserved green figs with brie. The beetroot soup with butternut and sage wontons was served pouring-style at the table.
A pan-fried fillet, roasted cherry tomato and feta stack, topped with the well-known Black Oystercatcher mushroom sauce was served as a main course.
