Wedding | Zahn and Bradley
Showers of blessings for the Haasbroeks
The old saying goes, if it rains on your wedding day, then you’ve been showered with blessings. And that was certainly the case for the Haasbroeks on their wedding day.
Zahn and Bradley celebrated an intimate, romantic wedding with family and friends at the Black Oystercatcher venue – one year after they eloped during the hard lockdown period. The clever couple made up for missing out on their original celebration, by hosting the ceremony on their one-year anniversary.
Zahn looked gorgeous in her white wedding dress and Bradley handsome in suit and tie. It was raining from morning until late in the night, but this gave the ceremony a dreamy, warm atmosphere with the fireplaces crackling all around the venue, keeping the guests warm and cosy in a relaxed setting.
Love and celebrations were in abundance – and it was an honour to play host to their picturesque wedding, and all the blessings that were showered upon them.

Our Wedding Venue
The wedding venue with a difference
We added a new venue to our centuries-old farmstead in 2016. It’s a venue that merges perfectly with the rich Overberg country: glass doors and windows all around, connecting you to nature.
Exposed brick walls, wooden beams, and a large veranda leading out to the infinity pool. And beyond that, the stretching Agulhas Plain countryside. Find out more.
