Father’s Day: How about some craft beer – on the house?
Dad – you’re invited to the Black Oystercatcher Restaurant on Father’s Day.
And we’re hoping to spoil you and the family this year.
Here’s the plan:
On Sunday 17 June, we’re serving a Fraser’s Folly craft beer on the house for all the Dads who stop by for lunch.
Our standard menu is available, which includes favourites such as the Gourmet Beef and Venison Burger and our Steak Pan (rump steak marinated in garlic, chili, white pepper and paprika topped with a mushroom sauce and parmesan).
We’ve also added a couple of Father’s Day meat specials to the menu this year. So look out for our:
- Pork Loin
- Pork Belly
- Venison
- Beef Pies
- And: A Brandy and Cherry Dessert
On top of that, we’ll be serving Dad’s favourite soup: Bess’s Famous Bean and Meat Soup.
This is a special occasion for fathers – including our own Dirk Human.
So remember to book your spot to avoid disappointment. Give us a call: 028 482 1618.

Our Restaurant
The restaurant is situated on a wine farm in the Elim wine ward.
The setting of the venue is ideal, looking out over the wetlands that form part of the conserved Nuwejaars Wetlands Special Management Area, and across to the rare fynbos on the Soetmuisberg mountains. The view is complete with our infinity pool in front of the dining area. The restaurant is close to the quaint missionary town of Elim and the small town of Bredasdorp at South Africa’s southern-most tip.
