Harvest 2014 in full swing at Black Oystercatcher Wines. We have brought in all the grapes for the Rose, with only 20 tons of SB still to be brought into the cellar. It has definitely been a challenging year with all the unusual rain, followed by very warm days, but the fermenting juice is tasting great and we are excited about the wines that are being produced this year. We will be bringing in the Semillon portion of our White Pearl next week and then it is a game of patience, waiting for our red grapes to reach their full potential on the vines before bringing them into the cellar.
