SMA shares climate adaptation model
SMA Chair Dirk Human was invited to attend the International Business Forum,
held in Pretoria in October. The forum was organised by the German government.
Called ‘Low Carbon, High Growth – Business Models for a Changing Climate’,
Dirk presented to members the approach of the SMA with the focus on
climate daptation as a potential business model and was warmly thanked for
his contribution. The event was attended by more than 250 representatives from
business, entrepreneurs, governments, international organisations and non-governmental
organisations from 47 countries.
SMA spog met vier nuwe buffels
Vier buffeltjies is die afgelope jaar gebore. Insluitend Kamkon, die eerste buffel wat gebore is op die
Agulhas Plein in 200 jaar (in 2011), kan die SMA spog met vyf jongelinge. Maar een buffeltjie is dié
jaar oorlede, toe sy ma hom verwerp het. Dis ten spyte van Jurie Gilomee se pogings om as moeder
