A celebration and a sax: The Chas Everitt function
All you need is a group of great people, a welcoming venue and a saxophone to host the perfect event.
That’s exactly how the Chas Everitt Cape Agulhas team brought their year-end function to life at the Black Oystercatcher. This friendly, bubbly event took place on a perfect summer’s day at our country venue – capturing the true essence of the Chas Everitt family.
On such a glorious day, the veranda served as the centre of the activities. Throughout the venue pink and blue splashes were introduced through orchids and other flower arrangements, bringing wonderful colour to the open-plan area. And the meal was a delightful choice, including fillet with miso butter – crafted by our team in the Black Oystercatcher kitchen.
To the Chas Everitt team, thank you for choosing the Black Oystercatcher to raise a glass to the year.

We added a new venue to our centuries-old farmstead in 2016. It’s a venue that merges perfectly with the rich Overberg country: glass doors and windows all around, connecting you to nature.
