Pop into the Black Oystercatcher farm shop, situated on our wine farm near Elim and Bredasdorp. You’ll find a selection of local gifts, crafts and delicious treats, with plenty of reasons to linger a little longer.

There’s plenty more to enjoy during your visit to our wine farm.

Join us for a tasting of our cool-climate Agulhas Wine Triangle wines, or book one of our antipasto platters and enjoy a relaxed lunch on the veranda with family and friends,  the Black Oystercatcher way. Our platters contain carefully selected treats, such as farm-fresh bread straight out of the oven, cured meats, delicious cheese, and much more.

All our platter choices are dictated by the seasons – to ensure only the freshest, tastiest experience for you. When you book your platter, your table is secured in our venue or on our veranda looking out over the Nuwejaars wetlands. There are also vegan and kiddies platter options. Booking is essential.

You’ll find our farm shop at the Black Oystercatcher Wines on Moddervlei Farm, near Elim in the Cape Agulhas region of the Overberg.

Trading hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–16:00.

Payment: We are cashless. Card and SnapScan payments are accepted.
