Wedding l Marizelle & Nicolaas
On a late summer afternoon in December, Nicolaas and Marizelle celebrated their wedding day with us at Black Oystercatcher Wines.
The venue was decorated by the team of Antoinette Events from Bredasdorp with a simple elegance. White orchids and linen paired with raw wooden tables, crystal chandeliers and gold and brass details completed their table settings. Lounge pockets created a laid-back atmosphere for guests to enjoy the harvest table-inspired snacks while they waited on the wedding party. The minimalist décor showcased the couples no-fuss attitude and proved to be most enjoyable for their guests.
The buffet-style dinner of succulent lamb spit, homemade chicken pie, roasted seasonal vegetables and a fresh garden salad was completed by an array of cakes by Nicole Concer of Table Café. Thank you, Nicolaas and Marizelle, for choosing to spend your special day with us. And we wish you only joy on your exciting journey ahead.

Our wedding day was the most magical day ever. We had always wanted an autumn/winter wedding and everything that went with it.

We added a new venue to our centuries-old farmstead in 2016. It’s a venue that merges perfectly with the rich Overberg country: glass doors and windows all around, connecting you to nature.
