17 Dec 2011, Tina & Jacques
We were excited to be involved with this rustic french country wedding, with natural blues, lavenders and greens, fresh aromatic herbs and a french feast of good food and good wine.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful historical Elim Church in Elim. The bride arrived in a 1928 ford car. The wedding service was held by Ds Gys van Schoor, all the way from Durbanville.
After the wedding ceremony, the guests started arriving at the Black Oystercatcher venue, where the pre-drinks and snacks, delicious cheese platters – all local, were served in the shade under a melkhout tree. Everybody had some time to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
